Summer in the City

Something’s been happening in the gritty urban communities of Manchester. People of God have been choosing to take their light where the darkness is. Amazing things have happened as relationships have been made with people who only knew Jesus as a swear word. This summer you’re invited to be part of it.

As part of the development of a new Eden project in the city a community-based Prayer House will be established for July and August. We’ve found that when a place has been hardened to the gospel for generations a vital spiritual work must be done before change can happen. People of God must go in to soften the ground by loving, serving and praying.

So what were you planning to do this summer?
How about spending a month as an undercover agent of the Kingdom? We need guys and girls with passion, maturity, courage and commitment to move into a Prayer House and from there live out a missional rhythm of life. If you love prayer and you love people it could be just the thing you’ve been looking for.

And hey, what else could be more significant than knowing you are participating in the pioneering of new Kingdom ventures that will restore hope and faith in places of despair?
